Cool New Mission: Impossible Fallout Photos Take Us Behind The Scenes With Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise clearly loves his planes. From Top Gun to Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation to American Made (among many others), the guy seems to have a passion for hopping aboard things that can fly. Now, with the release of Mission: Impossible - Fallout looming for this summer, it's clear this passion has not changed. In fact, a new series of photos from the production of the sixth Mission: Impossible movie has just hit the web, and they tease some serious airborne stunts. Check out the first photo, below.

Don't worry, Mission: Impossible. We will not try that at home. It is impossible (pun intended) to glean specific plot details from that shot, but it's evident that Mission: Impossible will send Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) on an infiltration mission of some sort that requires him to perform a HALO (high-altitude low-opening) jump from the back of a cargo plane. It's almost ironic: Ethan fought so hard to get inside of a cargo plane during the events of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, but in the next film he will jump out of one and plummet to the surface of the Earth.

Of course, for those of you who doubt whether or not Tom Cruise performed the jump teased in that first photo, a second picture was posted to show the action icon actually making the leap from the plane. See for yourself, below.

You have to hand it to Tom Cruise. The man commits to his stunts. Between that HALO jump, the helicopter stunt, the motorcycle chase and the numerous fight scenes teased in the first Mission: Impossible - Fallout trailer, it looks like this could become one of the most action-packed Mission: Impossible films to date. Tom Cruise may have broken his ankle in a genuinely brutal way while making this movie, but the sheer number of stunts being teased appears to promise something extraordinary when it finally debuts this summer.

Ethan Hunt and the rest of his IMF team will go on their next assignment (if they choose to accept it) when Mission: Impossible - Fallout debuts in theaters later this summer on July 27. Watch Gal Gadot Accidentally Insert Herself Into Mustachegate

Zack Snyder's Justice League generated a lot of headlines over the course of its rocky production, but few were more delightfully entertaining than Mustachegate. The CGI upper lip situation involving Henry Cavill and his glorious Mission: Impossible mustache became an instant meme, and now Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has accidentally inserted herself into the joke by posting a video of herself with her own (totally fake) mustache. Check out the post, below!

It's admittedly not nearly as thick as the Henry Cavill stache, but it will suffice for now. The actress took to her Twitter account to post a #HappyMonday tweet involving Boomerang video of herself, a quote from the late Charlie Chaplin, and a drawn-on mustache. We have seen a fair number of things in our time as fans of Gal Gadot and her work in Hollywood, but her sporting a mustache is definitely something new.

Of course, as mentioned earlier, the image of Wonder Woman sporting a mustache naturally conjures memories of the Henry Cavill CGI mustache debacle that grabbed headlines last year when the actor had to return to the Justice League reshoots during the middle of Mission: Impossible - Fallout's production. Paramount would not let the actor shave to don the red and blue tights, so Warner Bros. had to use CGI to remove the mustache and fill in his bare upper lip. It's reasonably clear that this tweet from Gal Gadot isn't meant to directly poke fun at Henry Cavill's mustache or the entire Mustachegate affair. In all honesty, it looks like she was just having some innocent fun and not even thinking of the recent situation involving her co-star's now-iconic facial hair. Nevertheless, plenty of people have picked up on the similarities, and this #HappyMonday tweet now has us thinking about a version of Diana Prince sporting a thick mustache. After all, with Wonder Woman 2 rumored to take place in the 1980s, she will be ideally placed in an era in which mustaches were all the rage.

The Animated Addams Family Movie Has Its Cast

The Addams Family is finally returning to theaters, only instead of being live action again, the creepy and kooky characters will star in an animated movie, harkening back to their New Yorker roots. Late last year, it was reported that Oscar Isaac was being eyed to voice Gomez in the new Addams Family movie. Now the full cast has been unveiled, and not only is Isaac confirmed to be voicing Gomez, we've learned his co-stars will include Charlize Theron, Allison Janney, Bette Midler, Chlo Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard and Nick Kroll.

Charlize Theron will be voicing the love of Gomez's life, Morticia. This will be Theron's third time starring in an animated movie, previously lending her vocal talents to Astro Boy and Kubo and the Two Strings. Taking on the role of Grandmama will be Broadway star and Oscar nominee Bette Midler, who voiced Georgette in 1988's Oliver & Company.

Bringing life to Wednesday and Puglsey, Gomez and Morticia's children, in The Addams Family will be Chlo Grace Moretz and Finn Wolfhard, respectively. Moretz has plenty of voice credits on her acting resume, including Bolt and My Friends Tigger & Pooh. While The Addams Family will mark Wolfhard's first major movie voice role, he's currently best known for starring in Stranger Things and IT, and he'll also voice one of the main characters in Netflix's upcoming Carmen Sandiego animated series.

That leaves Nick Kroll, a man who has starred in animated projects like Sausage Party, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie and Big Mouth, to play Uncle Fester. There's no word yet on who will voice Lurch, although since he's a butler of few words, it's not like you need a major actor to play him (although it would be funny if an A-lister was brought in to recite what little dialogue he has). As for Allison Janney, she will be voicing the movie's main villain, Margaux Needler, a crafty reality TV show host. Janney's voice credits include Finding Nemo, Over the Hedge, Mr. Peabody & Sherman and Minions.

Along with revealing the full Addams Family cast, MGM also released the first image of how these characters will appear in animated form, and sure enough, they're delightfully mysterious and spooky.

While this movie won't be the first time that The Addams Family has been translated for animation, it can be argued that the public knows this property best from its live action offerings, be it on the big screen, on TV or as a stage show. Earlier in the decade, there were plans to make a stop-motion Addams Family movie, but those plans fell through, and now they're going the CGI route. Aside from the Family facing off against Margaux Needler, the only plot-related information that's been revealed is that the main characters will be preparing for their extended family to arrive for a major celebration.

Directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, The Addams Family animated movie will scare its way into theaters on October 11, 2019, so stay tuned to CinemaBlend for more updates.
